Boris Thaller
“Servus colleagues,”
I am Boris Thaller - a passionate trainer, coach, and project management expert. With great enthusiasm, I support projects as an independent Project Manager, Management Officer, and catalyst for innovative PMO organisations. My passion is moving projects and people, promoting development, and achieving real results together.
My motto: “...do things right with passion - rather than just doing the right things...” This guides my approach and my work in project management. The energy I draw from team spirit and project dynamics inspired me early on as a project engineer in international product development. Even then, it was clear to me: the project environment is my home - it’s where I can live out my passion and inspire others.
Early in my career, I was given the opportunity to take on responsibility as a technical project manager and to continuously expand my expertise through certifications. Sharing my knowledge is a matter close to my heart. As a Lessons Learned Coach and workshop moderator, I bring teams and departments together, share experiences, and create genuine added value - continuous improvement drives me. As a coach for technical project managers and later as a Senior Project Manager both in customer-facing roles and within local and regional PMOs, I support project managers in surpassing themselves and strengthening their skills.
Most recently, I had the honour of serving as Global Head of PMO, accompanying projects and project managers worldwide with my PMO colleagues - strategically, operationally, and in an agile manner. Together, we developed new digital project platforms, defined project processes, and rolled out innovative methods.
My mission: Through modern PMO practices, make global and complex projects more successful, inspire people, and spread the spirit of living project management and understand the ultimate value of PMOs. I am especially proud to proactively support companies in their projects during challenging situations or transformations, to initiate continuous improvements, and to further develop processes, methods, and tools together with them.
Of central importance to me is the promotion and development of project managers - because they and their teams are the key factor in the success of every project and, consequently, for their company.
